Tommorow war (2021), blokbaster mix Terminatora i Aliena. Naravno, kad to kažem mislim na elemente zapleta i radnje, ne na kvalitete istih. Mada, gledljiv je ovo film, samo treba uključiti "brain off" mod, i uživati u spektakularnom dizajnu i akcionim scenama, kojih ima podosta i najjači su adut filma. Sve ostalo je, onako. Scenario šupalj, likovi razrađeni tek toliko da postoje (osim glavnih koji su za nijansu razrađeniji), gluma isto prosek. Dopada mi se taj oldskul pristup, odavno nismo imali film gde je muško zaista muško, i gde se slavi porodica i potencira na očuvanju iste. Istovremeno, imamo i jaku ženu (mislim na ćerku, majka je samo statista) i jakog muškarca, i oni su jedno drugom potrebni, nasuprot modernim trendovima gde imamo žene kojima niko ne treba.
Sve u svemu, solidan no brainer, da se gleda na velikom tv-u i da se mnogo ne razmišlja kako i zašto. Čak mi ni trajanje nije predstavljalo problem.

Uhvatih juce na kablovskoj ovaj lep, deciji ali i za odrasle film. Radi se o magicnoj prodavnici igracaka koja je pred zatvaranjem. Privukla me je glumacka ekipa - Dustin Hoffman i Natalie Portman - kao i lepa fotografija. I ovo je no brainer ali ima lepu poruku.

Kronenbergov The Dead Zone (1983) stavljam ga van horora jer je više sf... Mislim, nemam pojma, nekakav krosover žanrova.
Kristofer Voken je definitivno bolji što je stariji. Film ima dobre ideje ali mi nije zaokružen (ne narativno, tu su stvari jasne). Zapravo me ne čudi što ga do sad nisam ispratila do kraja kad bi se pojavio gdegod, mada ću mu dati 7 jer ne bih da ispadnem nekul u društvu.

Il demonio (1963) - vizuelno (nad)moćan film sa strastveno odigranom centralnom ulogom. Ne bi me iznenadilo da ga je Fridkin odgledao pre snimanja Isterivača đavola (ili da je bar video onu scenu u crkvi), kao ni to da se Izabela Ađani ugledala na briljantnu Daliju Levi pripremajući se za Possession. Remek-delo!

Politically incorrect towards both the corrupt system and its increasingly violent opposition, it compels the viewer to think beyond the extremely limiting ‘choosing the side’ frame, and reflects upon the themes of (blind) justice, inequality and social media, proudly wearing its many influences – including the ‘James Bond’ and ‘Lethal Weapon’ series, Nolan’s ‘Batman’ trilogy, ‘V for Vendetta’ and ‘Joker’, to name a few – on its sleeve. It boasts high production values by virtue of which Saint Petersburg shines in its full (classical) glory, yet it doesn’t shy away from depicting the city’s underbelly as well, and delivers a good deal of memorable set-pieces that rival Hollywood offerings. Odgledah ovaj film samo i jedino zbog Švarcenegera. Zato što ga dugo nisam gledao i zato što sam hteo da vidim kako će da se snađe u drami. I snašao se nekako iako je film suv proseka. Jedino je kraj nešto efektniji.

Jako lep i visoko artikulisan engleski, svaka čast.
Inače sam htela da iskoristim priliku i da te pitam jesi li gledao A Field in England Bena Vitlija?
Arthaus film, meni se nije naročito svideo, mislim da je jako inspirisan Tarkovskim i generalno (istočno)evropskim arthausom - takođe mi pada na pamet The Devil Zulavskog) ali, naravno, daleko od majstorstva, imaginacije i nivoa ovih autora.
