Otkrivam print za poster fiktivnog akcionog B-filma Dangerous Speed koji igra značajnu ulogu u kratkometražnom filmu Slabikář radosti (Syllabus of Joy) češkog reditelja Petra Makaja. Folou d link bilou.

High Life - još uvek nisam 100% siguran u svoj utisak, verovatno delimično zbog toga što je ovo prvi film rediteljke Kler Deni koji sam odgledao. U svakom slučaju, scena masturbacije lude naučnice koju tumači Žilijet Binš, a koju glavni lik (Robert Patinson) u jednom trenutku nazove "šamankom sperme" ostaje u sećanju kao uznemirujuće erotična (ili obrnuto?).

Jesam, ali mi se nije dopao. Evo mog komentara sa Znaka Sagite:
"... stilski ujednačen, ali dozlaboga derivativan psihološki horor; lepo uslikana (i sa svojih sedamdesetak minuta, preduga) imitacija Repulsion-a, koja povremeno "isijava" i pokušava da gazi po linčovskom terenu. Loren Ešli Karter pomalo podseća na Aziju Arđento i daje sve od sebe da oči načini još krupnijim (jer neimenovana "junakinja" koju tumači ponire u ludilo), ali čim progovori, ne vredi joj ni naknadno otkrivanje grudi."

Diamantino - nadrealizam, transdženderizam, izbeglička kriza, palp SF sa ludom naučnicom, dekonstrukcija Pepeljuge i sprdnja sa Evropskom unijom i kultom poznatih (u disclaimer-u tvrde da je sličnost sa stvarnim osobama slučajna, ali protagonist neodoljivo podseća na Ronalda
). Ovaj hrabri, preambiciozni i krajnje uvrnuti miks ideja mi na prvo gledanje nije leg'o koliko sam očekivao (donekle su krivi i google-titlovi), ali sinoćna repriza (u Oficirskom domu u Nišu) mi je baš prijala. Jedan od najzabavnijih novih arthaus naslova.

Ovih dana, naleteo sam na nekolicinu ne baš inspirativnih arthouse naslova:
El día que resistía (Alessia Chiesa, 2018) - troje dece samo u kući na ivici (ili usred?) šume zvuči kao potencijalno dobra premisa za bajkoviti horor, ali u ovom slučaju je protraćena na dosadnjikavu dramu sa snažnim elementima misterije koji su i bili glavni razlog za ostajanje do kraja. (5+/10)
Ham on Rye (Tyler Taormina, 2019) - ako ste registrovani na Festival Scope-u, možete ga odgledati besplatno do 31. avgusta, mada meni uopšte nije leg'o (4+/10). Evo komentara sa moje FB stranice:
"The awkwardness of being a teenager in an increasingly alienating world is amped up to eleven (and above!) in Tyler Taormina's feature debut Ham on Rye – a visually pleasing coming-of-age drama with an authentic suburban setting, rife with uninvolving characters and imbued with initially delightful, slightly surreal bizarreness that gets progressively tiresome, along with the film's anticlimactic narrative."
Gangbyeon hotel (Sang-soo Hong, 2018) - taman sam se poradovao jednom južnokorejskom filmu koji traje manje od dva sata, kad ono... (3/10)
"While watching or rather, struggling to sit through 'Hotel by the River', I could envision the embodiment of my love for arthouse cinema writhing in agony - as you may guess, it was not a pleasant sight. In an incessant stream of dull visual compositions showing uninvolving protagonists engaged in painfully banal dialogue, I was vainly trying to catch a glimpse of poetry promised by the film's beautiful poster. That one shot of two women standing in the snow was the only redeeming value I got from the proceedings posing as lyrical, and coming off as the exact opposite." (moj kratki rivju sa letterboxd-a)

Trouble Every Day nisi gledao?
Nisam ni ja, nije mi se dalo, ali mogla bih negde da zasučem rukave i prionem na taj posao

Inače sam skinula ovaj a rešila i da pogledam neku od njenih drama, izvesne Bastards, pa kad stigne na red.
Kako bi okarakterisao High Life, ima li nekih horor/mračnih elemenata?

Uh, High Life, ponešto mi je bilo ok, ali uglavnom sam gledala sa blagom nezainteresovanošću. Lepo je to snimljeno, nema zbora, nego nekako samo sebi svrha bez poente.

Nekoliko reči iz mog FB posta o najnovijem filmu austrijske rediteljke Jesike Hauzner. Pritajeni horor, skriveni humor.
"Jessica Hausner's latest offering feels like a pharmaceutical riff on ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers’ by way of Yorgos Lanthimos, with a color palette that was hand-picked by Mika Ninagawa and Wess Anderson, and yet it comes off as refreshing (and wryly funny) as a film revolving around an ‘evil flower’ can be. Katharina Wöppermann and Martin Gschlacht did an amazing job as production designer and cinematorapher, respectively, so every minute of ‘Little Joe’ is absolutely gorgeous to look at, and the weird takes on Japanese traditional music composed by Teiji Ito complement the visuals in the most uncanny way possible. Loved it!"

Nekoliko prijatelja me je pitalo zašto ne bih probao da animiram kolaže, pa sam se, eto, odlučio i na taj korak.
A već planiram da od radova koje sam izbacivao u serijama, napravim i neki slideshow, čisto zbog promocije...

Hahaha... Kakve sam sreće (i kakvi me filmovi privlače), teško da ću stići do tog statusa.
